Yes, might be a good letter to have if he wasn’t in Switzerland. There aren’t any GM dealers there.

IDK about the extended warranty, but the recall seems to apply to exports.

Perhaps they will at least reimburse you for the part you ordered

Well, didn`t have any luck contacting GM Suisse SA - phone numbers there are non operational and email can`t be delivered and is returned instantly.
But heard/read (BBC and OAN ) something about GM returning to Europe, but that`s all about EVs only. So that won`t help either.

Never mind my EPS motor arrived in Switerland today and should be here by tomorrow.

Regards Simon

Let’s face facts folks the world has changed since the last HHR was assembled in May of 2011.

You could try GM in the U.S. They have a department for customers who can't get satisfaction with their dealer. Maybe someone here knows how to make that contact.

Again, I am skeptical of the idea that the regulators would allow GM to evade liabilities by simply closing shop.

Hi Pulpfriction / Hello sleeper

Thanks - I think I will give it a go @ GM USA - might get an answer and/or a path forwards.
Will do that that over the weekend.
I`ll try to fit the new EPS motor tomorrow. Want to go for a spin with the HHR again - missing the Capone Feeling.

Simon
