Maybe I stating the obvious, but the 2.0 turbo crank sprocket is different than the 2.2/2.4 crank sprocket. The crank sprocket in the kits won’t work for the 2.0, so you just reuse the old one or buy one separately.

Finally the engine is together and waiting the time to install. Then my friend can start work with the wiring. I bought the missing ECM plug from Ebay auction(there was international shipping as well),but after winning it,the seller told, that he do not want to send it to Estonia. So I have to find the missing plug and also SS speedometer.
I also got original PCM and under the dash wiring. Some day it will run again :)

Long time no posts. Finally had some time to work with my car. Pulled it to workshop and made the engine swap. Some notes for someone who maybe like to do same thing.
The SS AC pipe wont work. Have to use the 2,4L pipe and bent it a little bit to go round the cooler pipe. Radiator fan/cover dont fit. It will hit the passanger side cooler pipe. So have to find the SS one. The radiator is same.
If you want to upgrade the SS ABS unit, you have to make new brake lines as well :) Because the pipe fittings are different. Now all the mechanical work has done and my friend can start figuring out the wiring. The wiring is totali different in 2,4 and 2,0T. But will see it nex year how thing going. And if we can not run it with factory ECU,I will buy the standalone ECU.

PS! If some one had the 2007 HHR 2,4L wiring drawings,I will be very interested. It is not European market car and in local Opel(GM) dealer workshop find only 2008 and up wiring. No 2007. Or they same?

Back is 2,4 line

2,4 fan wont fit

I have no clue jet,do the bumper will fit or not :)

True, the regular hood/grille will have a gap to the SS bumper cover.. 1 mod leads to more & more..
