I agree. An HPT thread/sticky would be awesome. I hopefully will be picking up the suite in the next week or so.

Mind you it's an E47 tune but note the tables and compare to older ones. Lot's of great stuff here! Also the cam tables used if you want to disable the Cat Warmup.

I'm sure I'm not making friends with the "pay to play" crowd but don't care, they stopped responding to my posts a long time ago. I really should start a new thread with this so everyone with HPT can play.
So is there a speed limiter on the SS? I assumed there wasn't. I refer back to GM claiming the new HHR SS for 2008 was capable of 155mph.
Also I was thinking that speed limiters were set by the speed rating of the factory tires that came on a given car new.

Held it to the floor one day on a nice long straight with no on ramps then suddenly felt like old school valve float. With a quick glance down noticed that I was around 130 mph. I thought WTF!?!?! Opened the software, clicked on the limiter tab in HPT and sure enough it was set to 132 mph. Bumped it to 150 and reloaded the tune but I haven't pushed it yet to see if it will pass 132. The GM quote must be for auto trans 155 for manual. It was still pulling at 130 so it definitely had more in it.

I concur. My 2008 auto listed 132 when I pulled the stock tune.

I can only think of one reason for holding it back. harmonic vibration, and stress points in the tranny.
