Question New Member/Questions

Hi all,
Please welcome me to the forum since it's my first time. I hope to share and also get some valuable information here.
I own a 2008 LS HHR w/a 2.2L ... it just went over 115K and overall I'm happy with it. I drive it 80 miles to work/home at least 5 days a week. I've maintained it for regular oil changes and at 85K I replaced the Spark Plugs, Serpentine Belt, and Tires. New rotors & pads @ 101K ...
Tomorrow I will be having the Transmission serviced for flush and new oil. Its been shifting a little hard in first gear for about a week. Also, I have a eng. code for a # 2 cly miss. ... Has any body had this happened ?
Will it be worth my while to continue to put money in it ?
Should I fear a imminent timing belt/chain failure ?

Welcome to the site.

Sounds like you take good care of your car. You should be able to get many more miles out of it.
The car has a timing chain(not belt) that should be good for 200k miles or more.

Welcome to the site. Two things first check if the plug is tight. If it is swap thw plug with another plug and see if the problem follows the plug. It could be a defective plug.

Question

OK Forum: Help me out, I still have a # 2cly. eng. code for a miss, this after replacing sparkplugs, injectors, and switching the coil pkg. with wires. Also, now I have delay when starting the engine. The trans. is still shifting hard in first to secund gear after fuild change. What's going on ? Should I unload her / Is she to tired now ? I'm going to do a compression test next, but does someone have any suggestions ?

First thing. What is the CEL number that you got?
Hard to start may be a fuel pump issue. That's a tough one to diagnois over the internet.
