New Member/Questions
Hi all,
Please welcome me to the forum since it's my first time. I hope to share and also get some valuable information here.
I own a 2008 LS HHR w/a 2.2L ... it just went over 115K and overall I'm happy with it. I drive it 80 miles to work/home at least 5 days a week. I've maintained it for regular oil changes and at 85K I replaced the Spark Plugs, Serpentine Belt, and Tires. New rotors & pads @ 101K ...
Tomorrow I will be having the Transmission serviced for flush and new oil. Its been shifting a little hard in first gear for about a week. Also, I have a eng. code for a # 2 cly miss. ... Has any body had this happened ?
Will it be worth my while to continue to put money in it ?
Should I fear a imminent timing belt/chain failure ?

Welcome to the site.
Sounds like you take good care of your car. You should be able to get many more miles out of it.
The car has a timing chain(not belt) that should be good for 200k miles or more.

OK Forum: Help me out, I still have a # 2cly. eng. code for a miss, this after replacing sparkplugs, injectors, and switching the coil pkg. with wires. Also, now I have delay when starting the engine. The trans. is still shifting hard in first to secund gear after fuild change. What's going on ? Should I unload her / Is she to tired now ? I'm going to do a compression test next, but does someone have any suggestions ?
