Ahmadinejad did say the Holocaust was a "myth". There is no denying that. You can find that info on CNN. He also said Israel "will be wiped from the face of the Earth". Not they should be, but they WILL BE. That is a threat. These are HIS words. They are direct quotes. Also there is ample evidence that Iran is supplying the insurgency in Iraq with weapons, who are killing our troops. That would be supporting the enemy. Not to mention he was a part of the group who took Americans hostage in 1979. He is a dangerous and unstable man. I do not understand how anyone can support such a person. As far as Israel goes, please explain how they are the "real enemy of this world". That is an outrageous statement.

The American people cannot turn a blind eye towards the actions Israel takes against the people of Palestine. Our tax dollars have been used to fund Israel's economy, and American made weapons are being used by Israel's military to carry out it's brutal oppression against the poor people in Palestine.
The Palestinians, and just about all the other Arabs in the Middle East, hate America because of it's unquestioning support for Israel. The U.S. gives Israel over $3 billion dollars each year, free trade, and military hardware while at the same time our government ignores Israel's human rights violations against the Palestinian people. Therefore, the political leaders in America, both Democrats and Republicans, are hypocrites and are guilty of supporting terrorism against innocent Gentiles in the Middle East. (this is why **** happens to us, terrorist ****)

El Rey, while I think there is nothing wrong (and it can even be patriotic) to question what one's government says, you appear to be way out there on these issues. It puts you squarely on the far left fringe. Me, I'm more of a centrist.

As a non caucasion, as you state that you are, I find it ironic that you are so quick to categorize and label (prejudice against) others who don't share your viewpoint or who take an opposite viewpoint to yours. By that I mean that I would think that as a minority who has likely experienced some level of prejudice you appear very quick to pre-judge others.

Although I oppose much of Hugo Chavez's rhetoric, I wouldn't call him a terrorist. Radical socialist, yes, but Venezuela is not a state sponsor of terrorism.

However, I can't understand your blantant anti-semitism. And as far as questioning the occurence of the holocaust, please... don't go there. My father served in a combat team of the 75th inf div, 289th inf regiment, W.W. II (Belgium, Holland, Germany). His outfit was at the scene of two Nazi death camps that had been liberated. Trust me, it happened. It simply blows me away that we have a generation of people in this world that question horrific historical events witnessed by so many.

 

He could be considered a terrorist because he's supposedly tied to both the FARC and ELN. I'm not putting Chavez down or calling him an evil terrorist or anything (we share the same political party ) but clarifying why he can be considered a terrorist or that he backs terrorist by some. I don't want really get involved in this mess too much but $50 instead of $100 sounds pretty good to me.
