[QUOTE=calgaryhhr;209087]Any body else excited about the oil prices hovering near $100 per barrel?

I'm not going to get into all of this political mumbo jumbo. I just want to go back to the original question that started this thread. My answer is a big fat

NO!!!

I'm not interested in all the political stuff either but we're almost there. Hovering around $98 today. Couple more bucks and it'll be a day to remember.

as far as SLANDER goes you need to prove malice. there is no malice...only facts.

Bush knocked down the towers...

why dont you ask your leaders why Marvin P. Bush...the youngest of the family had security connections to the 9/11 tragedy?

he worked as director for a company that provided security for United Airlines, WTC, and Dulles International.

is that a coincidence or a plot? in this business it is about who you know and where you put them. our job is to question them, but if i question my government i am a conspiracy theorist or un american.

you people must have forgotten your rights. i work for city government with ties to state and national govt, i also have family in the secret service, and close ties in washington through work. its all a game and you sheep are getting played.

Sure you aren't talking about Ted Kennedy? You want to start talking about families in that context that look no further than the Kennedy Clan...Holy Cripes!

Kennedy's are not as bad as the Bushes. Granted, no one is perfect, and Ted sure as heck walked away from a murder charge. Both families are full of pampered, protected, frat boys. Bush even pretends he's not from the northeast. Screw them all

Anyway, I was going to say back to the original poster's point too, $100.00 per barrel oil is fine for the folks who have invested their money in oil.
For the rest of us, a lot less good. But since when is the welfare of the common man important to a society? Fox news says things are fine, not to worry.

How come most of us do not have stock in these companies when it is so easy to see they represent a runaway train and a gold mine for investors?
If we owned some of this stock, perhaps we could afford to drive our cars and make less choices as to what to buy with all our money.
