I went to the Philadelphia Auto Show recently and they had a 2012 Buick Regal Turbo on display. It shares the same Ecotech motor as the HHR SS but has an optional 19inch and 20 inch wheels. The Buick GM rep told me it also has a Six speed tranny. Don't know why they didn't put it in the HHR SS. Anyway here's a couple of pics.

That looks a little heavy for the same power but i would love to steal the tranny for the short bus. nice but we already have a piece of heavy metal in the driveway

 

I liked it so much i didn't notice but on the website it's listed for 26,200.

Just as in the Malibu (Epsilon II platform), the HHR (Delta platform) does not have the breadth to fit the 6 sp tranny. If it has AWD, it might be a candidate for my next new car (no, I'm keeping the SS as well).

I really like the styling of this car though...

 

You will not get a Buick Regal GS anywhere near $26,000.
