From that angle, it does. Now compare side and rear views. Not even close. The Impala is much sleeker and cleaner looking.

That isn't really the best angle for this car, because it doesn't look much like a Taurus in person. It is a similar size, but not as bulbous-looking. Check this one out:



At the NY Auto Show, this was introduced next to a face-lifted Traverse, which I REALLY like. We've been on the fence about getting one of those, and part of it was about the appearance.



I especially was glad to see the plain-looking rear being revised:

Looks nice to me.

The interior looks very cool, nice looking dash! Cant wait to test one. We test drove an 08 Pontiac G6 last week v6, dual exhausts, low mileage. Nice little car. After much back and forth with dealer we decided to fix my wife's car. Now I see them on the road all the time, however the deal just wasn't jiving with us. Any word on a new El Camino in the future?
