I'd just use a cargo plane myself, nothing too large, how about a nice CH-123 Provider?

They have nice handling characteristics and a good STOL profile.

What's the fun in that?..... Can't talk to people on the ground that way, like I can from a balloon.... not to mention some of the sunbathing you see going on on decks and in back yards as you drift over.

Gonna have to get you up in a good 'ol fashioned "Piston Pounder" so you see what fun they are, then you can introduce me to lighter than air flight if that's OK with you?

Nope, been around balloons but never went up, and missed a flight opportunity on the Goodyear blimp because of weather issues. I'm a fixed wing(or rotary on occasion), kind of guy, can't you tell?
