I dont know how many of you are watching CNN at this point, but they just did the press conference and they are just saying that at this point, he has been arrested, they have followed him for months, and that his wife did claim that they were together the night of the murder BUT she divorced him AFTER he was arrested on other CHILD Porn charges in 2001, what else did she not know. If you have seen this man on the coverage, he is flat out saying that he loved her and that he was in the basement that night, it was an accident, and he has written letters to the childs mother claiming how sorry he is for what happen, and he knows things that we do not about that night (details that were not released). He knows something, and hopefully we will all know shortly, until then live by Mr. Ramsey's words "DO NOT JUDGE, IT HAPPENED TO US"....I don't think that it is some crack pot, just trying to get his time, the man is clearly sick he has left for Thailand when we got out of jail on child porn charges, he is a repeat offender in that department for sure, and that alone is enough to put him back in jail regardless of how this turns out. Go get that ex-wife, see just how much she really knows. Time will tell!!

I though the same thing yesterday jx3. There are tons of idiots in jail that admited to other peoples crimes for whatever sick reason they have. I guess nobody will know until the trial and what evidence is pressented as opposed to just this guys confession. The reason I feel the way I do about the media Deb is because of what I see everyday. Children fall victim to all types of crimes and the same goes for people of poverty (Not just black or white) but nobody seems to care or find out. The general American publics attention gets fixated on a select few when we should really be worrying about the masses.

If your husband was convicted of child abuse, would you really lie about his whereabouts and provide him an alibi?

If you have seen this man on the coverage, he is flat out saying that he loved her and that he was in the basement that night, it was an accident, and he has written letters to the childs mother claiming how sorry he is for what happen,
Nothing new about knowing when/where/how she died.

Maybe the university professor, who is writting a book about the case, slipped some info about it when they were email one another.

Time will tell!!
Guess we'll have to wait and see.

First, Let me say how sorry I am to hear a bout your son and pray that the killer may be found. If not you have done the only thing anyone can do. Put it in God's hands, for vengence is mine thus said the Lord.

Secondy, I must admit that I may have mis-judged Mrs Ramsey, but the truth will eventually come out. As humans we have a tendacy to judge others based on what's going on at the time. I think because of the Sunsan Smith case of drowning her boys and a few others that took place during this time, and the way she dressed her daughter. It made others look at the Ramseys first. Because of the evil that abounds in this world, thier will always be cases of unjust and cruel treatment.

l know that we sohould not judge others, lest we be judged ourselves. Yet in saying that; We are human and we all make mistakes. Teknobunie, I am sure you have been judged wrongly since this type of thing happen to you and this is why it hits so close to Home. Forgive us! and I am speaking for my self if we have done so?

I was sickened by the original story and am again sickened...Whether it was this sick , freak or someone else, another child was killed...Another facet of the story is the punishment phase...child molestation, rape, other deviate sexual based crimes...our justice system cannot rehabilitate these offenders, they will reoffend, so the answer must be capital punishment...Eradicate these freaks from our society and give our children back there childhood...I am sick of warm and fuzzy laws protecting these animals...we euthanize animals for our convenience and safety, without any consideration of their rights so why do these animals get this consideration? I will admt to my own rush to judgement in this case, I tagged the mother as the offender, so I will admit my mistake...A lesson learned for me...

Teknobunie, condolences and prayers from my family. By the grace of God I was blessed with my two sons and have been granted the extreme gift of watching them grow into young men. May you find comfort in the memories...

Maybe she is the one who wants her 15 mins, and that is why she came out to the media. Maybe that as well is her alibi, she may have been there as well. At this point only God knows the truth! Hopefully this will open many peoples hearts, eyes, ears, and minds, and less people will pass judgement.

All in all I think that we all agree he is one person ad even if it was not JonBenet it was another child or chidren, he was out on bail when he left the country, and when Mr. Scott Peterson was leaving we were yelling he did it he did it, what makes this any different?
My point is he did do harm to a child, was arrested and fled, now even if it was not JonBenet he did do harm to a child/children and should be put behind bars for that. I'm under the impression that the professor helped the police find this guy. Am I getting that wrong? I thought that was how they found this guy and that is how they knew he knew so much about the case. They have said he knew details, that they can not release at this time and have never released to the general public, so how would the professor know of these details? Not being a smarta$$, just asking....I will be watching the coverage, to find out more, but like the DA said today in her conference, they would not have arrested and charge him if they did not have cause. But we do live in the great AMERICA, and things do happen, so I say LET'S SEE, oh wait another thing, where in this country do you think this man could get a "fair" trial? Jessica Lundsford's killer has to be moved, counties away and they can't get a fair trial.....how sad. I hope that this does not happen to this but then that is when we go back to the media thing.....

WOW guys THANK YOU ever so much! They say time heals a broken heart but time can never heal that tear in my heart. Time makes it easier to deal with, but that is all. I never wish that pain on ANYONE, not even the sickos that pray on the innocent. I never wanted to make this thread about me, but I did want people to know that the media makes mistakes and that the media only makes it harder on the families involved. So not always is it a good thing that they BROADCAST to the nation, about the killers. Then they have so many reasons not to go to trial, or make excuses to sit in a cell on my money. I could really go on forever about this BUT I WILL NOT, lol! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all our prayers, wishes, love, and everything else you throw at me, lol! It means the world!!!! (even the smart butt jokes)

The more I listen to, read about, and see this Pee Wee Herman looking muthafako the less I believe him.

Here's my thought. The guy got caught in country that has harsh laws, she he figured if he confessed about that crime becasue he had an obession following it, that it would draw Media pressence and would help him to get out of the country as quick as possible. He would get his 15 minutes of fame and a free ride of the Thiland.
