Only downside might be that many panels are ALREADY fleet vehicles, and the only reason a company sells fleet vehicles is because they are no longer cost effective....

While, as a panel owner I can appreciate your ulterior motive, your design can be done as a wrap over windows, and finding clean- non abused HHR's will be easier and cheaper than trying to find panels.

If I were buying for that type of fleet vehicle I would get Ram CV, those things are just awesome as is the 3.6 Pentestar V6 and 8 speed tranny.
Not that the HHR love isn't there but we all know the front suspension will hate the suburban and inner city roads in the long run.
The CV is a good looking truck, not nearly as fugly as the Transit Connect or any of tbe Asian based shoeboxes.

I drive a Transit Connect at work, put 80,000 miles on it in 2 years. Held up fairly well, and gets 25mpg loaded or empty.

Not going to win any beauty pageants, but it's a decent work vehicle.

Still would rather have had an Astro for work, but they don't make them any more either.
