I have even noticed Motorcycles and Jeep owners not waving to each other
I owned a Jeep in the late 80's and every jeep waved back at me, I think the times are changing, people just don't care anymore.

How can you care and want to wave at everyone who drives the same vehicle when you see a ton of them everyday? I can see waving, honking, or something if you own a car that is uncommon; like if you drive a Ferrari and you see another Ferrari owner it's cool because they are rare to see on the road (at least in my area). But when you own a car that in becoming as common as any other vehicle out there on the road it's kind of pointless.

Well I passed another HHR the other day and waved but no return wave so I shot out the tires and pulled up alongside them and waved, wow wouldn't you know , they waved back. I wonder why? Just kidding sometimes they wave back and sometimes not. Either way I continue to wave and yes, I wave at other vehicles on the road also.. Doesn't hurt to try and be friendly and if they think you are insane, I might pass that test on my end, then what the heck, no harm done. From a male perspective , you never know, there may be a good looking woman in there with more money than she knows what to do with

I give a thank you wave when someone lets me out into traffic but that applies to any vehicle on the road and that is the only time I wave ever.

Folks some times wave or give a thumbs up. Always wave back. Seldon wave first. Nobody waves when I'm driving my Ranger.

I always give a thumbs up to the other driver, esp if I notice they see me. I ususally get a thumbs up and a smile in return.

If I notice them in time, I do. Occasionally I get a wave back, and on a few occasions the other driver has beat me to the punch on waving.
