I gave it a try in the beginning and got that deer in the head lights look. For the most part people in New Jersey are too busy cutting you off, driving slow in the left lane or giving you the # 1 salute . to the garden state.

 

This morning was great, I pulled up next to an orange sunburst waiting at the light, I went to wave at her and she was waving at me

 

Never thought about other HHR`s I pass I have to much fun messing with the PT`s my son loves watching them stare.I had the first and only 07 panel in the area and the PT owners seem to notice them the most.

 

More often a nod and smile if eye contact is made. If the gal I waved to on RT 128 today is a member, call me. U R HOT!!!

 

I like watching the PT drivers give a weird look too

 

It's funny, when I first got my pontoon boat and I was out on the river, all boaters wave to each other when they pass..

Then I got a Harley..all Harley riders give the lo-five when passing..

and I now have this uncontrollable urge to wave at other HHR's....

so yes I do and well this is so Cal, not too many returned yet....but I'll keep it up...

 

I live in the Washington DC area and the car rental agencies rent a lot of HHRs. I've had my HHR less than a week and I think I've waved at everyone that rented one! They all look at me like, "Who the heck are you?"

I did wave at a guy yesterday in a Grey HHR, he was Indian or Pakistani and he made a U turn, followed me into my parking lot at work and asked me if he had done something wrong. I said, "No, I was just waving at a fellow HHR owner." He said, "Oh, I don't own this car, I rented it at the Airport. Sorry."

Today, a White HHR went by with a guy older than me. I waved and he smiled. Oh yes, I did wave at a guy in a LabCorp HHR and he looked at me like I was nuts.

If you are ever in the DC area, and you see a Black HHR with MD tags....THAT'S ME! (I have yet to see another Black HHR here, ever.)
