I always wave to HHRs, fire trucks, ambulances, and the local cops.
The only ones who don't wave back are the HHRs. Maybe if I gave them a "one fingered salute", I would get their attention.

Wheelie says Hi to his beloved brothers and sisters by flashing his headlights to them twice, today, I enountered 3 of his siblings, and Wheelie did his salutation flash at them, but they did not respond back... ...oh well, maybe they were in a hurry, they WERE on the interstate heading the opposite direction of where Wheelie was going..

It is feast or famine with how many HHR's I see most days--this morning on the way in to work, zero. I usually have the sunroof open and stick my hand out to wave if I see someone (This morning it was crisp 43F--thank goodness for the heated seats!).

Yesterday was a good day: a silverstone (turning into a driveway), sunburst orange (ahead of me) and a victory red parked at the market.

Alas, no one has waved back yet...

I'm a waver, I ride a Motorcycle and I drive the HHR, I wave from both. There are not very many HHR's here, so far none have waved back. Motorcycles run about 80%.

I cannot believe it. On my way home from work today another HHR owner actually waived at me. Of coarse I waived back.
First time I got a waive from someone around here since I took ownership in May of this year.
I'll keep waiving.....................
