A thread was started in early August this year but it was closed due to some kind of legal paranoia. You can close this one too if you like if it falls under the same criterion but I read this article yesterday morning:

Tony Stewart not charged in death of Kevin Ward Jr..........Toxicology reports revealed that Ward was under the influence of marijuana at a high enough level to impair judgment.

 

The original thread was closed due to speculation on a matter that had yet to be investigated(plus the possibility of litigation over said speculation), and out of respect for the family of Mr. Ward.

Now that the investigation has concluded, and all the facts are known, it's a topic open for discussion in a reasonable manner.

Regardless of yesterday's outcome, let's not forget that a young man is dead, and another has had his life changed forever.

 

still a sad situation for all involved, my thoughts go out to the Ward family and Tony Stewart and his family. A very hard issue to deal with!
