While I realize that the Delta platform is old and really needs to be replaced/updated, dropping the HHR name and style just seems silly. The car has a following and for the current GM decent sales numbers. So use the new platform and update the HHR. Heck it worked for Scion. the new XB is selling even faster than the old one...... and there are now at least 2 other cars on the market that are directly aimed at it.

Just my $0.02

Well, I bought a HHR last month, and it wasn't CFC program. The car I traded in got 40mpg but it was worn out. So this year I bought an 09 HHR and an 09 Cobalt SS. I feel like I helped. Love both vehicles. The SS is an amazing bang for the buck.

I agree as will they retain the 100,000 buyers a year with the Olando. I hope I am wrong but I think it will only see 50K-75K at best. It is too close to the Nox. GM is taking a risk I don't epect to pay off.

I and many other bought the HHR because it was different. The Olando is just another SUV 2 box.

I will go back to a truck next time not the Orlando.

The one thing they have going with the Orlando is it will be sold world wide and not just in the states. Out side North America people do not understand the HHR and it is not as popular as you would think. It has it's fans over seas but the Olando will prove to be more popular there.
