It isn't just GM that is charging more for their cars, it's every manufacturer. Why slam just one company when they are all guilty of it? As for Kia/Hyundai...Kias look better, Hyundais are dog-butt ugly. You couldn't pay me to own either one, but I think the Kias have a more cohesive design. I don't think $20K for a HHR LT1 is that bad, but I want a $22K MINI so what do I know.

GM is already out of bankruptcy and is making a profit, so that part of your post is irrelevant.
