Hypermiling

After 10,000 miles and a bit of experimentation in driving techniques, my best commuting mileage is 29.5 mpg, and my worst is 26.5 mpg. My conclusion is that the difference is of no consequence to me, so I'll just enjoy driving as fast as conditions allow.

I will do the same on my next tank. I'm interested to se the difference. Looks like it will be a while with only 300/550+ miles completed.
