While the signs may look humorous, the people doing this could injure or even kill someone. A couple summers ago I flagged construction zones and these type of signs warn motorists to slow down for flaggers.

Nice of the public's officials to warn us of all this impending doom...

I am sure something as official as one of these signs is secure and these are actually the messages programmed by the Dept of Transportation.
