I'm wrecked and so is the Paddy-Wagon.
Seriously overdid it yesterday, my mind is saying "come on walk it off, you're not as banged up as you think", but my body is saying "oh boy, this really hurts, listen to Michelle and rest"......I'm picking option #2 today, time for pain meds and a horizontal surface.
But before I find a place to fall over for the rest of the day, I can't thank all of you enough for the well wishes and offers of help, y'all are the best!

Gotta admit that the HHR sure does provide a good amount of safety and protection in the case of collisions.
Just a note here to go along with Mike's comments on the repairs.....
The old adage that a vehicle can't be put back together correctly after an accident is not true, but there's lots of antidotal evidence out there that would support that conclusion.
If you don't pick a good quality shop to do the repairs; if you allow your insurance company to dictate sub-standard aftermarket sheet metal (and other) parts' if you don't take the vehicle right back to the shop when you notice some further issues (say a couple of weeks after repairs were done); Then, yes, your vehicle won't be like it was.....

Get some rest, Mike - and don't read this until you have.

I wouldn't be surprised if it came out to be more than that. A few years ago this collision ended up costing around $11,000 in repairs and a month long rental vehicle. But I am in Canada where everything is more expensive.
