knee replacements?
I chose my surgeon because everyone that had surgery by him raved about him. I worked for a health insurance company, and everyone said he was awesome. So what went wrong with me. My luck.
Know allot of people who have had their knees done. In one family 2 brothers and a sister all had their (R) knee done. Two by the same DR, one had fantastic results and one not so good. He was told to learn to live with it. Also had two friends that had both their knees done at the same time, and said if you are looking at having both knees done that is the way to go. Good Luck in what you decide.
I finally got word that I'm old enough to get a full knee replacement. I was first told I needed on 14 years ago. All I'm waiting for is one of my sons to graduate and come home to take care of me. I hear you are on massive painkillers for at least two weeks. By the way, I tried Synvisc and didn't get much relief. I had my first cortisone injection last week and it felt great. Now it's hurting again. I see full replacement as the only option.
