This seems rather stupid to me. First of all, who doesn't know that a Chevy, Caddy or Buick isn't GM? They'd have to be living on Mars. Oops, I said Chevy. Sorry - Chevrolet. What about GMC? Will it be XXC or C?
I sort of understand how they came up with this I suppose. The Lexus is a Toyota and by keeping the Toyota out of the picture you get the snob appeal. Same with Acura. So maybe it makes sense at the Cadillac level to move it up a notch.
I personally think highly of GM and still see them as the powerhouse and the one to beat. Think that's why we bought our cars over Chrysler, Toyota and Ford.

2 cents plus a penny of adhe. isn't that bad especailly when we sell them to customers at 45 to 50 bucks a pop :) it pays to drive foreign but we like to ease it in to if you drive domestic...but hands down id pick my hhr over anything but a bmw
