I don't think money can buy him out of this. I mean after all it is a federal case. I think he'll have to serve some time. But while in prison he'll be a rockstar IMO unlike the previously suggested harden prisoners won't like him statements. I think the Falcons will drop him, Atlanta fans will be angry, and they will still support him.

 

Not too sure on the rockstar part CH...there is always some guy who has nothing to lose who wants to go down in history as the guy who waxed an NFL player...then again it may be all moot as he may get Paris Hilton digs and never even sniff the undies of a cell mate

Vick faces serious charges. It wasn't actually the abuse that will get him in deep bu the fact that he sponsored, bet on, and profited from illegal gambling on an illegal activity. He will get real hard time for the gambling part.

 

massive apologies from vick and his cronies will be broadcasted on CNN after being proven guilty in a court of law. He will tell all his fans about how sorry he is and how he should be more mindful of his property and the people he deals with and trusts, yada yada yada. His lawyers will get him a sweet deal amounting to no more than a six-month probation, $50 fine and community service by visiting some sick kids in the hospital so he can tell them how great a football player he is. Atlanta fans will still adore and worship him because he's "true to the game". Kids will still look up to him as their role model and dream of becoming a superstar athlete, because being teachers, engineers, doctors , etc dont get you enough "bling" and glory.

Years down the road they will find vick slumped faced down in a ditch somewhere from a drug deal gone wrong, OD or altercation with cops.

He will NOT get this kind of deal. Some of theese are felony charges. When the Feds come and bring charges that means they have solid case and that means no deal. Remember this is not the Duke Prosecutor(who I think is an idiot for what he did) it is the federal gov. with federal charges. The media will be all over this especially b/c of the fed. charges. The last sports guy to face fed. charges I think was Pete Rose and we are still talking about him to this day.

 

I dont really care much for vick, I hope he does get whats coming to him. I dont really care much for overpaid "athletes" that cant lead lives without negative publicity. We love our entertainment so much that we are allowing these thugs to stay too long on the spotlight. Our kids see this sort of behavior and since its being shown on national tv, it must be acceptable. I just dont have any respect for someone who plays a playground game and gets paid more than what they can spend in multiple lifetimes. Children have less respect for jobs that actually make a difference, and sports give children a bad idea on how life really is. I guess as long as I can shoot, kick, hit or throw a ball I will be okay. Sc**w getting a good education and getting a great profession that will actually benefit others. I want to be in the NFL/NBA getting paid to drink Pepsi and wear Nike apparel.

 

What all this boils down to is nothing! He most likely will not be sacked, he must found guilty in court before the Team will do anything. And with all of the money he has made in his football time, plus all of the money he mad in breeding, raising, fighting, and KILLING the dogs, the most he will get is a slap on his A$$. It is the same as those who get caught in Roster Fighting.
This will go on for a long time, he will say, I have been brought out into the Court System because of who I am and what I do for the Sport of Football.
