Yup, its a Biscuter all right, 1964 model by the way.

Now you know me Marshall, would I ever post up a non-car in the "Name that car game", that would be mean spirited ya know.

So who has the next "car of mystery" ready to cause scratching of heads and searching of memory banks?

Oh yeah, the Bill Thomas Cheetah built from '63 to '65, one car that could wipe the track with a Cobra...as long as you could handle it. One brutal machine, more of a conveyance for the engine, than a proper car...but who cares when it looks like that and goes like stink!

Yup - but apparently not your run-of-the-mill Muntz Jet, which looks like this:

Text I found indicates this is a one-off custom body built by Joe Bailon wih a Corvette engine, built for bandleader Freddy Martin. I think it looks really sharp from the rear....

Looking at the placement of the engine on the Cheetah, about mid-way between the front and rear wheels, that, plus the driver's position would actually make this a front engine vehicle with more weight on the REAR wheels!

52% rear wheel weight bias on the Cheetah......
