I think Whopper got it right. It is a Ghia L6.4 and only 25 of the were built before production ceased in 1963. Nickname, "Chrysler Golden Lion"

Somehow I lost a decade there - LOL

Yeah I could see a bit of Barracuda in the rear quarter - and a bit of Chrysler further forward. What the heck happened to the 60"s tho? I somehow missed that whole decade.

Nope - hint: note the dual exhaust (still obscure tho') - when I posted it, I thought it's kinda like a weird Batmobile

Probably, you did....
I was sitting in my basement.
I just rolled myself a taste
Of something green and gold and glorious
To get me through the day.
Then my friend yelled through the transom
"Grab your coat and get your hat son,
There's a nut down on the corner,
Givin' dollar bills away"
But I laid around a bit
Then I had another hit.
Then I rolled myself a bomber.
Then I thought about my mama.
Then I fooled around, played around
jacked around a while and then
I got stoned and I missed it.
I got stoned and it rolled right by.
I got stoned... oh me... oh my.

Whopper, I know this car. I have to think about it a bit. I remember thinking about how skinny the tires were and how extra wide the windshield looked when I first saw it. It seems to me that it was made for somebody or something to that extent. hmmmm????????

Here's a hink for you - well maybe a couple of hints:
- it was made for several years spanning 1960 (less than 2700 built) and I used to see the odd one around Victoria BC Canada
- top speed 123 - would hit 60mph in a bit less than 9 secs - which wasn't bad for that vintage

I was at a car meet a few years ago and came across a group of maybe 5 or 6 of them on display together - I just about fell over, as I hadn't seen one for a good 10 years.

I wouldn't call the car pretty by no means LOL, but was quite innovative in it's day.

Yeah that decade disappeared like smoke on the water
