National day of Slayer

I don't know if there are many Slayer fans on the site but I wanted to remind everyone that 6/6/06 is the national day of Slayer. I took the day off from work myself as well as many others throughout America I'm sure.

Excellent find, CH - absolutely nothing gets my day started any better than Tom Araya's scream at the beginning of "Angel of Death". That whole album is their best, in my opinion, and I can listen to it over and over again. Goes great with some cold beers in the back yard, too!

On a side note, my woman and I celebrate every June 9th (6/9) in a different manner.....

I actually have a niece and nephew that have a birthday on 6-6. We already told them they're not allowed outside at all that day, and that they are to stay in bed.

It's not a religious thing. It's about the greatest band ever! I know many Christian Slayer fans.

#1) Uh-oh, religious themes again (DylansHHR - note, CH is promoting an idea and a band - that's it!)
