Never done this with a snowmobile
I've raced on snow, grass and water with my sleds but never on asphalt.
I remembered when NHRA came out with the rules and never did it.
These people are running the 1/4 mile.
Some sanctions only run the 1/8.

It's also a totally different build set up from the other three.
Clutching is a major factor in all the types of racing.
Changing gearing in the chain case is next.
Snow or grass, how many studs and how long they are, come into play.
Jetting the carbs, if you're running them, also is a factor.
I'm sure with the ECM injection today programming is a science also.
