New Production Orlando is shown.
While I much prefer the styling of my HHR over the Orlando, I think GM was dumb to not offer this vehicle in the U.S. There is no replacement for the HHR so people are forced to pay at least $5K more and buy an Equinox, or shrink down to the Aveo/Sonic 5 door...which is not even close to the HHR in regards to cargo capacity or comfort. Of course the other option is to buy another brand. Not good!!
Jay if Hyundai cars are starting to look good to you, its time to see your optometrist.
Some of their designs like the Sonata are verging on too weird, then they counter with the Genesis Coupe, I like that one.

Funny my buddy that works in the service department of a Hyundai dealer passed on his discount to buy a HHR. Knowing what he does on Hyundais he would not buy one.
You should hear the stories. LOL!
I also work with two guys who thought buying a Hyundai was a good idea till things not covered under warranty started to go. They both bought used HHR's.

My neighbor had 3 Hyundais, and is down to one now. He got tired of visiting the dealer. Even if stuff was covered, the dealer visits were too frequent. There's a used G6 and a new Malibu over there now.
The rust issue on the Sonata sub frames were fixed with a hammer to beat it and flake off the rust then spray it with wax?
The issue with the brakes here in the mid west where the calipers would freeze up were to remove them and lube them, They will only do it again 15,000 miles later. New pins were needed but Hyundai did not use them.
New Sonata had the sway bar mount break off the frame. It bent and went up into the floor pan. The new owner was not amused.
Long history with brake issues and other non warrantied parts have been a halmark for them. They are better than they were but they still have issues and are not always cheap to fit.

No Orlando, No Captiva
Hey GM insiders! The Orlando is not coming to USA. The Captiva does, but only to fleet buyers. The Granite is stillborn. Other GM vehicles are too big or too small. Is my next HHR going to be a Kia Soul, or is will GM eventually offer a genuine HHR replacement?
You know if you buy a Kia you have to sell your Soul to get rid of it.
Look to the new Chevy Trax in Europe and you will see they have more things to come. The Trax will not come here as it is but the Nox will move to a much smaller and lighter Delta II hence it will be on the new updated platform the HHR was on.
The bottom line is just because you don't know about it does not mean GM has something coming. There will be a lot of suprises coming.
The Granite was cancled but the slot in the GM line will still be filled. Look to to Chevy for this one.
