I put General G Max tires on my '08 SS; great tire. Walmart can get 'em for you.

LawDog, I will give an impartial answer as I work for Michelin.
The symmetry, and several other styles has gone the way for an all in one styles called the Defender, came out last year, less rubber and more <synth> other goodies in it to get the mileage to last longer. now we have launched one called premier, last even longer they <engineers> say. I make a lot of the snow tires in the plant, I couldn't tell you if they are any good or not, I do make ALOT of them,, so someone likes them, I am talking in the thousands> Being in the south I would think the snow tire would be good for gripping on our paved roads for handling not mileage LOL

btw... Michelin owns B F Goodrich & Uniroyal
just like the walmart brands are knock offs of some Bridgestone's and goodyears etc...,, Michelin makes the Sears tire for them, hell can't think of the name of them,,

is why you don't see Michelin in nascar......... we have the fomula 1 races down and the Baja's with the b f's
