New work vehicle!
This isn't really HHr related, in fact is means I lost one Chevy in my driveway... Sent the '06 Uplander down the road and have a brand new '10 Dodge Caravan now. I can see why Chevy had a hard time competing with Chrysler product here... This vehicle is very nice! Rides so smooth and quiet and a lot of really nice features.
Styling is very nice and much more roomy. The stow/go seating is so cool to be able to fold everything flat and have a huge cargo hold area. 1 minute tops to do this! The seats are way more comfortable and this means a lot when you spend over 3 hrs. a day on the road.
4 spd. automatic trans seems very smooth, and I hope they made them a lot more reliable than the previous generation. The trans was always the weak spot of the Dodge minivans. No tach. though???
Now if my company would have given me the choice I would have taken something on the order of a GMC Acadia or Buick Enclave. I love both of those vehicles when I have used tham as rentals and I sure wish we had 4WD at times in our 60 mi. winter commute. Sure am grateful to work for a fantastic company that provides workers with this opportunity though!

I just traded my wifes 07 Buick Terraza for a Chrysler Town & Country and the difference is night and day. I absolutely love the T&C. The Terraza was in the shop all the time, ran rough from the day we got it, and made all kinds of mystery noises. The New T&C is nice and quiet, rides smooth(3.8)V-6/6 speed auto, and seems to be built better overall using much higher quality materials. I am in total agreement with you on this post.
I still like my SS better than both of the vans though lol!

Yeah my opinion on chryslers has changed also. My first car was a 1985 chrysler daytona turbo, had to rebuild the engine three times. My parents had k-cars that were similar, just MUCH slower.
However my girlfriend just bought an 09 Dodge Caliber. So far it seems to be of good quality and designed well. I hope it holds up. I just wish it had the personality of the HHR.
