Honestly squirrel can taste a bit like chicken, or a bit like venison, it really depends on where they fed. Ones that poach grains from farms taste more like chicken, ones that are feeding on woodland vegetation and nuts, they taste a bit like venison.
It's an acquired taste, and being a card carrying "Mill Town Bumpkin", with Grandpa's that hunted anything during the Depression. Well let's just say that Sunday Dinner could be any type of critter.
But to those reading this "Resolution Thread" and wondering if you should make squirrel munching an addition to your New Year's diet, you might just stick to more conventional "Edible Critters".
