Really? You like the idea that they can listen to you while driving anytime they wish without your knowledge? Or maybe a similar car in the same area is tagged as yours because he didnt have OS and he did something wrong? Where does it end??...how can you say its ok..its NOT! And if OS have the tools to listen..then ANYBODY can do the same if they are so equipped? Your willing to give up that much from the PRIVACY in your own car?
Sure FB and anything online is tracked, but you know this and dont post stupid opinions that make cause flags to fly..your guard is down in your car, same as walking across the floor in your house.....never say its ok and get over it..so what if your doing nothing wrong....ITS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS..Period!

Yeah, I'm really worried they may hear me planning to "eliminate" all the left-wing (or right wing ....depending on YOUR beliefs) communinist, socialist, bleeding heart leaning politicians.

Sweet Jesus! Why would they listen in on my conversations....how boring.

"They can probably can tell when ya take a dump.."

While its only an extra $4.99 a month, we never thought the Poo-Pak was as good as ADT claims.

Aren't you glad I held back on being "normal funny" until you got rid of the kidney stone sleeper?

It was killing me to keep from damaging you with excessive laughter.

When i called to turn my onstar off the woman told me that they were going to keep it turned on in case i wanted to reactivate it .All i would have to do was push the button on the mirror..Then a week later i read about givin the info to law/gov.so i found my receiver and unplugged the power to it .You cant unplug everything or the car wont start or run.The light on the mirror is out and i guess i turned it off....

Well I used to be all uptight about things like this until I had a company car for a year a while back with OnStar in it. In that year I had a couple of flat tires and someone rear-ended me so hard it smacked me into the person in front of me, I glanced off of them and went into the ditch! LOL no kidding!

On all of those occasions all I did was push the Blue Button and *presto* a tow truck was on the way, some guy changed my tire - I didn't have to do it, nor did I have to ride a donut to the nearest tire shop and wait for that. Just press, talk, and done.

In the accident, I pushed the button, talked to the lady, she got the ambulance, the police and everyone on the way for me and asked me all sorts of questions to make sure I was ok, and then if everyone else involved was ok. I told her yes, but the guy who hit me might not be in a few minutes if he didn't shut up about his poor mustang!

So now that I have a Chevy HHR of my own (man I'll never get tired of sayin that!) with OnStar - I have the trial of course, and when it ends?? Oh yeah I'll be buying it a year at a time with everything on it. Totally worth it when you basically live out of your vehicle working.

Anyway... my 2 cents.

Funny how onstar has the same features as a programmed cell phone....but the cell doesnt cost any more for it....on star-one button.....one touch number set up on cell-one button.....unless,your a travelling business person then onstar has its bennies and its also a write off....local drivers/owners? waste of money.
