I spent a few hours with him today while his wife went home n took care of some things . He seems to be getting better. but he is still having head aches and if you will "brain farts" . You can say something to him sometimes and he looks at you and says "whatd you say" , you repeat and he does it again.. then minutes later he will answer you or argue what the question was. They did a MRI today, it came back just fine.. they did a EEG and the results are not back yet.. Just keep a praying , and hoping.. he is such a great guy and I hate to see him have issues like this since he is already struggling enough with having 12 major surgery's n 12 months..

thanks again. i know he appreciates it.

i told him i posted it up on a forum im on (on here) and he got excited to know people are praying for him

i'm in no way a doctor......but i can pass along my mom's experience.....after she had her heart bypass she was talking out of her head and not making sense, arguing about nothing and just out there. turned out her potassium and iron were way low and she needed a transfusion to bring it back up it.....with him having surgeries and such it may be something to look at.....again i'm no doctor, just passing along what i've witnessed.

I've only been on this site a month or so, but IMHO, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better group or guys and gals. Me and mine will continue to pray for your friend and all his loved ones.

UPDATE ::

so he got to go home yesterday morning.. everything seemed to check out okay, but the hospital he was at (Medical Center or Arlington, MCA ) seemed to be real sketchy. His doctor
was verrry rude. I was n the room when he came to give him results, he was just very c0cky
and rude to him and his family. He basically put it as "since he isn't smart enough to figure out whats wrong with my buddy, then he's gonna chalk it up to he must of just had a bad migrain" .. I think not, my buddy is still having brain farts , having trouble remembering things n what not.. i think more less a stroke would be appropriate here.. i dunno

BUT tonight :: my buddy was just emitted back into the ER (just found this out 20 min ago) ..
He just had that last knee surgery 2 weeks ago , and his legs stitches are squirting and oozing a nasty fluid.. he thinks it is a bad infection.. i will let everyone know a status as soon as i hear more.. he had a bad infection right after the accident and it almost cost him his leg (amputation)

keep praying, thanks
