We need to start looking at SERIOUS mods now.....

 

I'm not too sold on flying cars, too many compromises, remember the AVE Mizar flying Pinto from the 70's. Unfortunately its flight characteristics were at times hugely unpredictable, resulting in the loss of the prototype and both pilots on September 11, 1973 near Oxnard Ca.

Premium gas... not AVGas

 

What's the fun in using street gas, I love the smell of 100LL. But then again I learned how to fly in a crop duster, so maybe the residual pesticides affected me somehow.

 

I wonder how 100LL would do in my Mercury outboard?

 

Well it would really like it, or you'd melt the pistons, hard to tell.

 

I ran it in my Evenrude, felt supercharged, didn't melt.

 

Well that's the difference between an Evinrude and a Mercury, you can pull an Evinrude off the bottom of Lake Norman after two years, feed it some fresh gas and it'll run.

four stoke or mixed oil?

 

It's a 1969, starcraft, with a 33 Evenrude, mixed, it is a little older that 4 stroke tech. My weed eater is 4 stroke.
