Very, very sad in a way:
They closed the factory where this '55 Chevy was built in Flint, Michigan
way back in 1964.
The Fisher body factories in Flint, Michigan were closed in 1985 when Buick switched to Front Wheel Drive.
The Buick factory shut down in 2000 and has been completely razed. Buicks were built there for more than 90 years.
No more Oldsmobiles or Pontiacs are being built. The factories are razed.
