Well look what followed me home......
I really won't back down from a race , When conditions allow. (THE LAW)
I guess it's because i'm a car guy , And i know the SS is fast , And i drive it 3 hours a day (at least , today was 3-1/2) I want to see a car tear me up, Because i'll have a great view of a bad ass ride no matter what size engine.
But it does'nt really happen , Mostly , I get a view of there bad ass ride from my rearview.

Well you are talking 375 hp versus 260 hp, but the SS is geared for acceleration where my R/T is geared at 3.08 for high speed cruising. The Super Track Pack gets you a 3.73 final drive but having driven one, they are just wound too tight on the highway. SS's are much more composed on the highway, still geared to haul a** but not screaming at highway speeds.
I'd rather have gearing that leans towards composed cruising than a short final drive that's only good for "point and shoot" situations.

I ran a 3.73 in my 86 Monte, and at times wish I was runnin a 4.11 in it.Didnt think it was too radical for highway cruising(was my everyday driver at the time and got about 10 mpg, lol).
I just wish I fit in the Camaro, but my head is in the roof even in the convertible(top up of course), and the Corvette is a no go because I don't fit in them either. I just wanted a nice V-8 muscle car to use more often than the SS, if the Challenger gets rained on I'll be irked, if the SS gets rained on I'm mortified.
I'd still rather have one of these.....
