Well look what followed me home......
I just wish I fit in the Camaro, but my head is in the roof even in the convertible(top up of course), and the Corvette is a no go because I don't fit in them either. I just wanted a nice V-8 muscle car to use more often than the SS, if the Challenger gets rained on I'll be irked, if the SS gets rained on I'm mortified.
I'm really glad that you all like it, I really debated about even telling anyone about it since this is a site for the HHR and Chevy cars in general. I am still loyal to Chevrolet and this is only the second time I've ever spent money on a "Not A Chevy", thanks for not being mad at me.
Right now the SS and the R/T sit nose to nose in the garage just two inches apart, if cars could think, I wonder what the Dodge would be thinking as it stares at a badge that just says SS 427. I know I'd be nervous because you just don't mess with an SS.

Since Kevin asked in a PM, here's a pic of my Mom's Vette. Its a 2008 automatic in Atomic Orange, right now she has 89,000 miles on it. Yes, my Mommy has the fastest car in the family and she's been driving Corvettes only since 1978.
Lessee... a low 13 sec Challanger against a 14 sec HHR SS......nope, not happening. We talking in stock form but throw in the Kit for fun. The car is a brute and yes from what Ive read its an auto with 3.08 gears pulling those numbers.Always loved the Challangers / Cuda's...after owning several D cars through out time, still a fan. Guy I work with has one AND two winged/nosed P cars, one original and one restored. Lucky bastard!
