What Happened to Gas Prices?

That wasn't aimed at you. I use that famous scene from The Blues Brothers anytime I don't have a good explanation for something. I can always fall back on Jake.

So if gas goes up, inflation rises, followed by interest rates. Soon we won't be able to afford our homes, won't be able to sell them, and won't even be able to afford to even live in our cars. All because some economists thinks gas should sell at $83 a barrel. Do you love a free market!

I saw it going back up again here. I saw one station that was still at $2.69 and filled up since I was close to an 1/8th. Figured better not wait till the weekend. Good thing. Same station was 10 cents higher the next morning.

I hear you there... I traded in my RX-8 for the HHR. I was dropping 100+ a week in gas... 93 octane @ 3.90 a gallon and 10-12 mpg. ouch. I hear a lot of people complaining about their mpg in the hhr's and I'm jumping for joy getting 21mpg. ohwell. They need to calm down on the price increases.

Since the vast amount of what is paid for our gas at the pump is taxes, well it`s the Patriotic thing to do, pay more, and the gov. will have more money to do the things around the world that we Americans want done... to make this the U.P. (United Planet), and we`re helping 'Support the Troops' too.
