What happened to the "WRECKED SS" thread?

I was really hoping to score an A-Pillar Cover for the future interceptor gauge I was going to order. So, what happened?

I think the post wasn't according to the forum rules..... he wasn't stating his asking prices and specific parts, etc.

This thread isn't in accordance with forum rules either Members are not suppose to start new threads asking about locked or deleted posts. If you really want to know then send the moderators a nice pm about it

The OP deleted it and he was not asked to do that by admin.

But, without asking, how is one to know if a particular post is, in fact, deleted or locked? There have been many many threads that I simply can not find using the search feature....and then finally, someone will add a post and it will make it's way back to the upper relm of new posts.

Surely the moderators don't want all of us asking THEM about every single thread that a member can't find.

Just sayin'

Respectfully,
Putter

There are multiple ways to search for threads/posts. If you can't find it by using the search function and key words then you can try finding it by searching for who posted in it etc. If you still can't find it then most likely it has been removed by a moderator or in this case the op (probably because of what was posted by a moderator). Moderators don't necessarily want to do alot of things but it is part of the territory. The rule applies mostly to locked threads more so than deleted threads. However, having been a mod and seeing ChevyMgr's last post in the mentioned thread I assumed it was then removed. You know what assuming gets

Well to all who got there hopes up including us, we talked to the op and he didn't even have the car in his possesion! He was making an offer to the insurance to purchase the wrecked SS HHR from somewhere in the midwest! Was most likely trying to re-coop his investment asap? Reason for deletion we might never know !
