Well I am back and just a little worse for the wear, THAT is a long time in a boat! My trophy fish was a 450 lb black marlin caught in corpus christi Texas, well not really we were about 150 miles out at that point in no mans land but it was that vicinity, felt pulling up a yugo with a ball of yarn., and for all of you tree loving people (we need you too) I put him back after pics and he swam away beautifully and unharmed. After I got him of course I had to follow the rules and jump into about 1500 foot abyss(guessing as our bottom machine would no longer register) to pay tribute to the fish and sliced my heel pretty bad on barnacles on the trim tabs getting back in the boat, that sucked and still does. It would have been cool to been able to have met some of you as I stopped in clearwater and panama city then off to new orleans for some gumbo to venice louisiana to port arthur texas to galveston to aransas to corpus to padre island and then I lost track of where the hell we were back to aransas for the final drop off. The water was perfect most of the way until we left galveston and then we ran into some 8 foot rollers with teeth but we made it, just got beat up a little along the way. Got some pics and will post a few when I can. As soon as I got back it was into the ride for a cruise to the cape to drop off a friend and now I AM HOME I received a few packages while I was gone,btw thanks Tonyss the grill showed up perfect also I GOT MY STICKER! and my weatertechs, soooo tom. I got some stuff to do . I am glad to be home and it looks like I have a bunch of reading to do to catch up on all of the forum action.
