Which is the worst car that you´ve driven?
Even Volkswagen Makes Mistakes
Worst was the first! A 1981 Honda Civic complete with bullet holes and unidentified rusty colored stains under the seats. I didn't have that car a month when I pulled the clutch cable stop right through the firewall! What a POS! then of course burned out clutch, the list goes on and on. I then got my grand-ma's 1978 Puke(forrest) green Ford Grenada. Big, ugly, 351 and a 2-door with vinyl top. Damn, come to think about it I miss that car, now I'm gonna have to find one of those, to buy and restore.
1989 mitsubishi mighty max...that truck was the worst vehicle ever! Swapped motors and 7 months later, timing belt broke (brand new belt too!). 3rd motor later, the carb needs replacing. 2 years later, the carb died again! needed cat, exhaust manifold, interior was a joke. I really hated it. I wanted to like it, spent cash on making it feel better but it never rerciprocated and i ended up getting rid of it. a huge money pit!
It's almost as bad as the 1981 Malibu I owned (v6 pos) but I bought it knowing it was disposable and on it's last legs. the blinker stick on the column broke off, brakes would some times just give out but knowing that car was for the summer after highschool, I was fine with it dying :)

1992 vw golf. it was covered in dents. everytime i worked on it, it pissed me off, so i beat the crap out of it with whatever tool i hand in my hand. f*** german engineering. third time on the hook, off the road it came. good luck to the sucker that bought it from me.
I have had more than 20 cars in the 45 years I have had a driver's license. The car that gave me unending trouble was a 1974 VW Super Beetle that I bought used in 1975. The damned thing would just up and stop running at random, usually cruising at highway speed. Sometimes it would start up after stalling. Sometimes it would not start up, but would start up just when the tow truck arrived, or after the tow truck dropped it off at a repair shop. Back then there were no cell phones and it was often along walk to a pay phone. I loved everything about the car except the way it behaved.
My favorite car was my 1963 Hillman Super Minx. I bought it in 1971 when it was 8 years old. It was in absolutely perfect, showroom condition with 40,000 miles on the odometer. It was so good that I forced the owner to accept $200 more than she was asking, because I did not like feeling that I was ripping her off. It had a 4 speed manual gearbox that made the most delightful howling sounds in 1st gear and reverse. It was ridiculously easy to maintain - breaker point ignition, single barrel carburetor, cam-driven fuel pump that took 30 seconds to replace. Those were the days. That Hillman Super Minx was seen running 10 years after I sold it.
