I AM a Ferrari (it's my last name - ) - my hubby works for Mattel so you can imagine the Ferrari's he has amassed in 1:18 scale!! Oh well, it's a hobby

You know, when those later model vettes came out, I just couldn't stand the look of the "high butts" on them. But now that I'm used to it, some of the older ones look kinda squat looking - it grows on you, I guess. Still, if I was to get a Corvette going, I'd want the sting ray profile and era.

Well, that's quite a noble last name !!! Very Cool.. & I'm sure your hubby has quite the collection, too !!!

As far as the vettes, my wife had a '69 Big Block Vette before we met.
She used to do shows & etc.. Me I had a '79 L-48, only long enough to 'flip-it' for a profit..

But if I could have any I would think a 1967 split window would work ok for me !!! The new ones are just too hi-tech for me, I would be afraid to open the hood
That's where my Harley Flathead still allows me to "be in charge"

The new Z06 is my dream car. I have sat in a couple at auto shows. It is such an amazing car.

Ahh Corvettes...

I mentioned above that my wife wants a 50th Anniversary, but I guess I should mention that my ride of choice would be a 1967 'Vette L88. That thing is just a weapon! Of course ANY 'Vette from '63-67 would be great.

Those early Stingrays have got to be one of the most beautiful designs of all time. Those and the Aston Martin DB4 Zagato . Of course, for that kind of dough I could buy a new Z06, a 1967 'Vette L88, and house in Bermuda!

1963 was the only year for the split window. It was changed because of visibility complaints.

Hey SSguy, I think I found one. Looks like it's pretty affordable as well!
