Over on the face book group I had some help and I thought Id pass on my findings, I tried searching and if its old news I apologize in advance

Any how I've been replacing all my Bulbs including the third Brake light(tailgate) brake light.

I dont do alot of highway driving and a few days after my LED 3rd brake light replacement I was on the highway and I had no Cruise control, turns out GM decided that if you have a bulb go out or you install LEDs on your 3rd Brake light no Cruise the Cruise light goes on but it wont engage.

Answer was put a inline resister, for the LED, or replace the bulb, if its broken.

 

Yes, it's old news BUT, a good reminder for those that aren't familiar with it.

all that put aside , Thanks for the reminder Joe, I have learned to leave the third brake lights alone! Just like GM wanted !!
