I just noticed today that my A/C doesn’t work for my 06 HRR! (great )
And It only works when i blast the air to the max...

Has anyone had this issue????? and if yes, any suggestions???

Sounds like its low on charge, that's the first thing I'd have checked.

Go to the auto Parts & get a can of A/C "Leak Detector" & the rig to install it.
(edit): Run it a while & then in a low light area, using a Black Light the leak will glow like neon yellowish green..

Pay close attention to fitting connections, the Condenser in front of Rad, & around the A/C housing.

Fix the leak..or have it repaired & properly re-charged

The refrigerant already has that in it. A neon green color like you said.

The op might be talking about the fan...they weren't specific as to whether the fan wasn't working or the ac wasn't cooling.

Wait..missing something here..he says it only works when he BLASTS the air.....so, your saying the air doesnt work on the lower settings? Or that it doesnt get cold unless its on high air? Low freon doesnt care what the fan speed is...t would actually work better at slow speed as it has time to cool the air.....this could also be air restriction ,, ie- filter...or a fan swt resistor.....just clarifying

Yeah, on second and third thoughts, it might be a blocked cabin air filter or hung blend door. But I have had units with weak charges that only got cold when you blast them at maximum settings, although we are talking Corvairs here(prehistoric at best).

acablexi, Is it the fan or the A/C that doesn't work at the lower settings?

If the fan only blows on high, the blower resistor is shot. If this is the case, look at the cabin air filter and see if there is evidence of water getting in. If there is, you will have to repair that as well or your blower motor and/or resistor will just fail again.

If the A/C is just working poorly, then it may be low on refrigerantg or as others suggested possibly a blend door issue or something like that.

Thats the blower resistor pack not allowing your slower speeds..... needs replaced.
