noise while driving

i am getting a loud exhaust-like noise when i am on the road.
it does not appear to be a muffler or exhaust issue since it is not heard when i am idling and/or revving the engine; only when i get up to 30MPH or higher and i do not smell any exhaust fumes.
i was told it may be related to the catalytic converter piping.
any ideas?

thanks

Some owners have had issues with the down pipe between the exhaust manifold and the converter, its worth checking. Also the tube between the right front fender and the air filter box can become dislodged giving you an exhaust like noise(more of a snort on acceleration). Since engines these days run so clean you probably would never smell exhaust in the cabin unless you're running either very rich or very lean. Try a forum search for exhaust noise and you'll most likely find other things to look into. Oh, welcome to the forum by the way, lots of really great folks here and info too.

Hub bearing? I struggle with a same kind of noise almost 1 year, thinking that was the muffler. It comming from the front? Its louder when you turn going like 40 mph?
