Elec Window Stopped Working

2008 SS: driver's side rear window stopped working recently. Haven't looked at it yet, but any hints/clues/guesses what might be wrong? All other windows work fine.

I have a 2008 SS, same thing happened to me rear window as well. Took it to the dealer they said it was the "window regulator" , Luckily I got a extended warranty so I only paid 50. total cost for repair according to my local dealer is 280 parts and labor. hope this helps

Any noise at all from the motor? Clicking noise (arching of sparks) at the regulator when you rock the power switch up & down? Old fashioned way of checking for "dead spots" on the stator/regulator was to slap the door panel while pushing the switch up & down. If its the regulator the slapping/banging of the door panel might move the regulator enough combined with the internal arcing of the DC current might make the motor work for a short time. Also narrows down if its the switch or not. Never close your windows completely tight-holding the switch up or down till the window is "extra closed" creates bad/dead spots on the motor.
