How to change your own oil.

Well that was easy! Hardest thing was cleaning up. Even reset oil life on the DIC. Pushed both buttons on the steering wheel and the first thing that popped up was the oil life reset. Confirmed reset and I was done... I used Pennzoil Platinum full synth with an AC Delco filter
Gave her a bath this morning and detailed the interior after the oil change, took the Harley out for a quick spin and all is good!!!
On a side note, I used a craftsman 32mm socket with a swivel and loosened the cap then took it off by hand from there. No problems...

Way too many posts to read so it is probably here already, but Snap On makes a shallow socket for the oil filter.

New York has an actual law. Free recycling for DIYers.

Many other states have the same regulations and want us to recycle it for free. Please don't dump it.

Thanks. They are available on Ebay. Napa And Autozone carries them as special order, so Either way I will have to wait a few days. It is just that I was on a high from changing my air filter and wanted to keep going.lol
