How to change your own oil.
Iwas also surprised that Advanced , along with Napa and Autozone did have to order them. They fit many models of cars.
Is everyone asking for an ecotec filter socket, or just picking up the socket off the tool rack?
Thanks for the great pic's solman98

No one seemed to have a problem with the 32 mm socket? The picture at the beginning shows a nice 32 mm socket with a reduced head on the drive end. I couldn't get my standard Craftsman 32 MM ½" drive socket down on top of the cap without a couple hous of work with grinder. I had to shorten the socket, and cut down it's massive head. Is that a plastic intake manifold on my 2.4 L engine?

Solman, Thanks for the detailed pics & narrative. Between you & YouTube I changed oil & filter, and changed both headlamp bulbs today. I had called a mobile mechanic to do work, but he never got back to me, so....with your help I did it myself. Not bad for a 62 yr old granny. Thanks again!! :-)
