Welcome to the site carbonite.

Nice link.

One thing I would say about that article. I would not try to use a crescent wrench. Too easy to mess up the plastic nut protrusion on the cap.
Get the correct Lisle socket or another brand specifically made for this.

I've had too many experiences with terrible oil changes from dealers to quick lube places, I simply don't bother letting anyone else do this... It's super simple, and why not take the opportunity to learn more about your car?
You guys are missing the fact that his first and only post here after waking up a 9 month dormant thread is to hawk his own website.......

And it implies this is only 2011 model. Pointing out misspelled words, is below me.

Calm down 'gents, just adding a resource for those it may help. I'll leave a comment to the article's author w/ your feedback.

I am calm; just making an observation. But since you decided to 'go there', some sites would consider linking to your own website to be spam. Others might require you to be a site vendor to do so. That plus your 'resource' doesn't add anything to what was already stated nearly 7 years ago. Makes it look like you're just looking for some 'organic search results' for your website.

My oh my, why must the majority of "Oil Change" threads devolve into non-productive minor squabbles?

Let's call this one done, thread closed.
