I picked up my HHR last night and I love it. I have a question and I know it's going to sound ridiculous to most so go easy on me.

If I press the AUX Input button on the radio it shows SAT as an option. I know the Pioneer head unit has SAT and Onstar capabilities. Do the Pioneer units have the Pioneer logo on them? Also is there a way I can check to see if I have SAT capabilities? I would like to activate both if the option is there. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have the shark fin?
They all have the "option".
If you have OnStar you will have an OnStar mirror.
What happens if you push the "cat" button?

 

Donbrew, thank you for the reply. When I press the CAT button, it simply states "XM FEATURE"

 

If you don't have the shark fin on the rear passenger sided of your buggy you {probably} do not really have the satellite radio stuff on board.

There are more electronics that go in the rear if the headliner of the car to make that stuff work.

 

I pressed the CAT button, he snarled and bit me , then hid under the couch!! lol

this appears that you don't have the option
